What is Team Weed?

A marijuana club with a cycling problem.

As of July 1st, 2015, marijuana prohibition is over in the state or Oregon. Since we have had a local Team Beer on the scene for many many years, it only seems right to now form Team Weed!

Our mission is to redefine the social norms for marijuana use by adults 21 and over. We are not a bunch of stoners. We are professionals, students, fathers, mothers, and athletes. We intend to model a pattern of responsible usage of marijuana so the next generation can see what it looks like to use marijuana responsibly. Just like every person who drinks alcohol is not a drunk, not every person who uses marijuana is a stereotypical stoner. We encourage parents who use marijuana to be open and honest with their children about it. You wouldn’t hide from your children to drink a glass of wine or a beer. So why should you hide to take a puff of marijuana? Oh yeah, I almost forgot… we also intend to race our bicycles in outfits that scream WEED!
